Comics

The library's collections in this area are focused on American comic books, newspaper comic strips, French political comic books from World War II, and various political and feminist "zines."

Principal collections include:

• The Edwin and Terry Murray Comic Book Collection
• The American Newspaper Repository Collection
• Le Temeraire

Collecting focus is on 16th-20th century works from Western Europe and the Americas in this subject area.
